NEW COLLECTION: "HOLDING CLOSE"
“Holding Close” continues to examine Pauline’s earlier themes about relationships and domesticity but here there is a greater focus on ageing and a deeper contemplation on her approach to death.
“The gentle humour of Pauline’s poems is also in tune with human sorrow and lacrimae rerum. She makes profound poems out of everyday things and knows exactly where to put the emphasis to carry the tone” - TESSA RANSFORD
“Her poems, alternately funny and poignant, and deeply rooted in the Hebridean island she inhabits, beautifully reflect the preoccupations of a woman as she grows older” - SHARON BLACKIE, Two Ravens Press
